Conductivity and Turbidity
The company BAMO is a European manufacturer of sensors and instruments for monitoring and analysing liquids. Analysis and measurement of liquids, pH, chlorine content, conductivity, water hardness, turbidity and dissolved oxygen. Monitoring and measurement of level, flow, pressure and temperature. Motorised and automatic valves. Our qualifications and experience mainly lie in the fields of hydraulics, mechanics, electronics and injection moulding. Production and product development are carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and the company is DIN EN ISO 9001 and ATEX certified, complying with all applicable directives and European standards. Tests are carried out both in our own test chambers and at third-party certification centres.
The instrument LAS for a demineralized water production monitoring indicates permanently the resistivity value. The alarm sounds each time the resistivity is lower than the pre-set value; it reset only when the resistivity is back to a greater value. The scale 0 ... 2 MOhm.cm is expanded to allow a comfortable reading from 20 to 500 kOhm.cm with centered value at 100 kOhm.cm bringing a safe information. The instrument is convenient for monitoring demineralisation systems anions / cations, without automatic control. Associated probes: a probes with cell factor 0.1 are suitable, however the probe BC 1425/BNC is particularly convenient.

In combination with a conductivity cells, BAMOPHAR 323 is designed for conductivity or resistivity measurements. Examples: conductivity on drinkable and ground water, conductivity in cooling tower, resistivity on demineralized water, control of ultra pure water production units.
|
Conductivity measurement for monitoring and/ or regulation in water treatment, chemical industries, industrial applications: cooling towers survey, clean water control (wells, drinking water, thermal baths ...), stormwater and runoff water survey, WWTP survey, concentration measurements of acid and base, chemicals quality survey.

The TURBISWITCH GS5 with one of its associated probes or cells, operates turbidity measurements for evaluation of solid content of a liquid. The turbidity signal is read out as a limit value (adjustable ) via the controller GS5. Turbidity measurement is based on the principle of optical attenuation of transmitted light, i.e. depends directly on the amount of undissolved solids in the liquid. Pulse infrared light makes the measurement not affected by ambient light. If the measured turbidity value is exceeding or below the trigger point value, the output relay in the TURBISWITCH GS5 is actuated in accordance with the settings.
|
Turbidity is the result of existing particles in the liquid. TURBISWITCH GA is designed for installation in pipeline; It measures optically the turbidity of the flowing liquid. Transmitted light measurement is done between an emitter and a receiver, in front of each other. Attenuated light measurement is convert by the TURBISWITCH GS4, which compares the signal against the threshold set by the operator. The limits of turbidity detection depend of the liquid's properties and nominal diameter of the measuring cell. Measuring range is between 50 FAU min. (or above depending of liquid) and 10,000 FAU max. Optical windows are of borosilicate glass with CLEANOSIL anti-fouling coating.

BAMOPHAR 436 is equipped with a color touch screen to set up the configuration and to display the turbidity, temperature and state of thresholds. Copies of measurement are available on 2 outputs 4-20 mA. BAMOPHAR 436 displays the turbidity value measured by one of our transmitters, to respond to process requirements. TURBICUBE and TRUBOMAT in stainless steel, are dedicated to in-line measurement. TURBISENS is an immersion probe with transmitter for measurements in tanks, basins, channels. A complete measuring system includes one monitor BAMOPHAR 436 and one turbidity transmitter.

TURBICUBE measures the turbidity of the liquid using attenuated light beam (at 180°) and a scattered light beam (at 90°) with a 860 nm wavelength light, according to european standard ISO 7027. The measurement system integrates an assembly with 2 emitters and 1 receiver with a micro-processor in the main housing. The 4-20 mA output signal corresponds to the selected scale in use.

TRUBOMAT GAB measures the turbidity of liquid applying nephelometric method. For this purpose, a combined transmitted and scattered beams measurements are used, in which a transmitter and a receiver face each other and another transmitter is arranged orthogonally (at an angle of 90°). The atenuated and scattered lights are recorded by the electronic module (in the connection head) and process the results to transmit a linear output signal. TRUBOMAT GAB delivers a 4-20 mA signal, according to the set measuring range.
