Modular laser rangefinders without housing ASTECH
Laser rangefinder LDS30M open module
The LDS30M Mini Rangefinder measures distances up to 250m with centimetre accuracy and has an RS232 / RS422 interface. The LDS30M is the equivalent of the LDS30A rangefinder and is available in an open, modular design for designers and developers. The miniature laser sensor LDS30M is an opto-electronic fast (up to 30kHz) non-contact distance sensor for industrial applications. It is based on phase comparison measurement of amplitude modulated signals. The LDS30M sensor ensures high accuracy of measurement irrespective of the type of surface of the object to be measured up to a distance of 250 m and a high speed of output of the measurement results. The sensor operates at an optical safety wavelength of 905 nm. The sensor provides centimetre accurate distance measurement on objects with different surfaces, with a high range of 20 cm to 250 m on objects with good reflectance, and up to 30 m on objects with a reflectance of only 10%. Even at sub-zero temperatures, the transmitter is highly accurate, has a wide supply voltage range and low power consumption. The safe laser transmitter ensures a high level of occupational safety for the operating personnel. The real efficiency of laser distance meters depends on the reflective properties of the object to be measured, the influence of ambient light and atmospheric conditions. The sensor has one flexible cable for both power supply and signal transmission, as well as a bidirectional interface, signal and analogue output. Setting of sensor parameters and output of measurement results is performed via a computer. The unit of measurement is set by the user. |
